Huck went into his next career fight with a record of 38-2-1 and took this to 39 wins with a win against Ola Afolabi on February 27th, 2016. Becoming the first person to stop Ola Afolabi, Huck beat Afolabi via RTD in the 10th round of a 12 round fight.
Huck went into his next fight against Mairis Briedis on April 1st, 2017 with a career record of 39-3-1. Continuing his career, Huck fought and was defeated next by Mairis Briedis in 2017 over 12 rounds. Huck was the 4th person to go the distance with Mairis Briedis.
On September 9th, 2017, Huck took on and was defeated by Oleksandr Usyk meaning his career tally went to 39-4-1 A great performance by opponent Usyk added a 2nd stoppage defeat to Huck's career. Huck was outmatched and the fight was brought to a halt in round 10 via TKO.
