Oleksandr Usyk, born January 17th 1987 made his debut in November 2013. After not putting a foot wrong in 15 fights so far and building an unbeaten record of 15-0-0 it's still unclear just how far Usyk can go at the age of 37. In a great debut, Usyk took on Felipe Romero in a 6 round fight, becoming the 6th person to stop Romero in his 25 fight career to date. Following his debut, Usyk had an impressive start to his career as he went on to win his next 8 fights including 2 times in 2013 and 2 times in 2015 fighting the likes of as Daniel Bruwer, Andrey Knyazev and Epifanio Mendoza.
Next was Krzysztof Glowacki on September 17th, 2016 where Usyk took the win continuing his unbeaten streak. Usyk showed his superior boxing skills to become the first person to beat Glowacki. The judges scored the bout in favour of Usyk by UD over the full 12 rounds. Usyk fought boxers including Michael Hunter and Thabiso Mchunu and he went on to win another 2 fights.
Usyk then went on to fight and beat Marco Huck on September 9th, 2017 maintaining his unbeaten record. The win against Huck happened in the 10th round of a 12 round fight via TKO.
On January 27th, 2018 Usyk fought and beat Mairis Briedis (16-0-0) to continue his unbeaten streak. Usyk showed his superior boxing skills to become the first person to beat Briedis. The judges scored the bout in favour of Usyk by MD over the full 12 rounds.
The unbeaten run continued with the defeat of Murat Gassiev in his latest fight on July 21st, 2018, taking his winning record to 15 wins. Furthering his technical experience, Usyk became the first ever person to beat Gassiev, getting the nod on the judges scorecards and proving his boxing ability further.
