Prescott's technical boxing ability was put to the test as he got outpointed in the 10 round fight against the better man. Vazquez gave Prescott his first professional loss of his 22 fight career to date.
Prescott went into his next fight against Mike Alvarado on November 12th, 2011 with a career record of 24-4-0. Alvarado was a fight too far for Prescott and after a rough fight Alvarado became the first person to stop Prescott in round 10.
Dmitry Mikhaylenko was next in line for Prescott where unfortunately, he was defeated on November 18th, 2016 taking his record to 27-8-0. Prescott fought Dmitry Mikhaylenko and was defeated via TKO in the 12 round bout. This was Prescott's 2nd stoppage defeat in his career which came in the 7th round.
Prescott's next defeat of his career came against Ryan Martin on May 5th, 2018. Prescott fought and was defeated by Ryan Martin. Prescott was the 5th person to go the distance with this opponent resulting in the eventual loss of the fight.
