Vargas's win streak of 3 rose to 21 following 18 great wins, becoming the first to stop Alberto Cupido, first to stop Irving Torres and First to beat Brandon Bennett.
Vargas kept his losses at 0 by beating Will Tomlinson on March 12th, 2015. Tomlinson was stopped in the 8th round via TKO crowning Vargas as the first person to stop this opponent.
Vargas went into his next career fight with a record of 22-0-1 and took this to 23 wins with a win against Takashi Miura on November 21st, 2015. The 12 round fight ended in the 9th round via TKO crowning Vargas as only the 2nd to stop Miura. Fight against followed taking his record to 23-0-2.
Vargas's next defeat of his career came against Miguel Berchelt on January 28th, 2017. Vargas latest fight proved a step too far when he faced the first defeat of his career against Miguel Berchelt in the 11th round of a 12 round fight via KO. Lets hope he comes back stronger.
