Postol became the first person to stop Ayvazidi. Postol's win streak of 17 rose to 25 following 8 great wins, becoming the 3rd person to defeat Yvan Mendy, 2nd person to defeat Jose Lopez and 3rd person to beat Henry Lundy.
Postol then went on to fight and beat Selcuk Aydin on May 17th, 2014 maintaining his unbeaten record. Aydin was a worthy challenger but Postol was too much and became the first person to stop Aydin via KO during round 11. Another win followed for Postol taking his win tally to 27 wins.
On October 3rd, 2015 Postol fought and beat Lucas martin Matthysse (37-3-0) to continue his unbeaten streak. Matthysse was stopped in the 10th round via KO crowning Postol as the first person to stop this opponent.
On July 23rd, 2016, Postol took on and was defeated by Terence Crawford in his first career defeat meaning his career tally went to 28-1-0. Coming into the fight with high confidence Postol fought his next fight against Terence Crawford on July 23rd, 2016. Unfortunately, Postol was outclassed and lost the decision on the judges scorecards taking his record to 28-1-0.
Postol went into his next fight against Josh Taylor on June 23rd, 2018 with a career record of 28 wins. Postol was the 2nd person to go the distance with Taylor. Postol fought Josh Taylor in 2018, the result was via UD meaning a loss for Postol to add to his career record.
