Harrison faced the first defeat of his career against Willie Nelson in the 9th round of a 10 round fight via TKO. Harrison's winning streak went from 21 wins to 23 after he then defeated boxers including Cecil Mccalla and Fernando Guerrero.
Taking a knock to his career, Harrison fought and was defeated by Jarrett Hurd on February 25th, 2017 taking his record to 23-2-0. Hurd upset Harrison in a 12 round fight, stopping him in the 9th round and becoming only the 2nd person to stop Harrison.
Tony Harrison went into his fight with Ishe Smith on May 11th, 2018 with 23 wins and he added another win to his record taking it to 24 wins by beating Smith. Harrison became only the 8th person to defeat Ishe Smith in his 33 long fight career, taking his win tally to 24 via the judges decision (SD, round 10).
