Argenis Mendez started off his pro career aged 20 and currently has a record of 23-5-1. Mendez now looks to build on the experience gained in his first 30 fights. He started his best winning streak on December 2006 however, this came to an end on June 2008. In this period he won a total of 12 fights.

Next was Guadalupe Guzman on September 16th, 2007 where Mendez took the win continuing his unbeaten streak. Showing his class against Guzman, Mendez was the 3rd person to go the distance with this opponent. 4 wins followed where Mendez went on to be the 3rd person to stop Oscar De la cruz, 20th person to stop Luis Sosa and 3rd person to defeat Jorge Ruiz.
Mendez went into his next fight against Jaime Sandoval on October 3rd, 2008 with a career record of 12 wins. Mendez's technical boxing ability was put to the test as he got outpointed in the 8 round fight against the better man. Sandoval gave Mendez his first professional loss of his 13 fight career to date. Mendez then went on to win a further 14 fights taking his record to 22 wins, 3 losses and 1 draw.
Mendez went into his next career fight with a record of 22-3-1 and took this to 23 wins with a win against Miguel Vazquez on October 6th, 2015. Vazquez was a great challenge for Mendez, losing over the full 10 round distance and crowning Mendez as the 5th person to have defeated Vazquez.
Robert Easter jr. was next in line for Mendez where unfortunately, he was defeated on April 1st, 2016 taking his record to 23-4-1. Easter jr. Was a fight too far for Mendez and after a rough fight Easter jr. Became the first person to stop Mendez in round 5.
Mendez went into his next fight against Luke Campbell on July 30th, 2016 with a career record of 23 wins. Mendez was the 4th person to go the distance with Campbell. Mendez fought Luke Campbell in 2016, the result was via UD meaning a loss for Mendez to add to his career record.
