Born November 24th 1980, orthodox fighter Brian Viloria started his career in May 2001 at the age of 20 and has now been pro for 14 years, fighting a total of 43 times. He started his best winning streak on May 2001 however, this came to an end on February 2006. In this period he won a total of 11 fights.
In his first fight in May 2001, Viloria defeated Benjamin Escobia in a 4 round fight. The fight went the full distance and secured Viloria his first win and distance win to kick of his pro career. Viloria kept his losses at 2 by beating Ulises Solis on April 19th, 2009. Becoming the first person to stop Ulises Solis, Viloria beat Solis via KO in the 11th round of a 12 round fight. Viloria's wins continued and went from 25 wins to 26 after he then defeated Jesus Iribe.
Viloria lost to Carlos Tamara in his next fight. Taking place on January 23rd, 2010, Viloria's career record after this fight stood at 26-3-2. Carlos Tamara became the first person to stop Viloria. The win came via TKO in the 12th round of a 12 round bout. Fights against Julio cesar Miranda, Omar Soto and Liempetch Sor veerapol followed where he won all 3 fights taking his winning streak to 29 wins.
Viloria went into his next career fight with a record of 29-3-2 and took this to 30 wins with a win against Giovani Segura on December 11th, 2011. Viloria's fight against Giovani Segura came in the 8th round of a 12 round fight via TKO. Viloria became the first person to stop Segura. Viloria's win streak of 30 rose to 35 following 5 wins against boxers such as Omar Nino romero, Hernan Marquez, Armando Vazquez and 2 others.
Omar Soto was Viloria's next fight on July 25th, 2015 and also the next win in his career via KO. This took his record to 36-4-2 showing a mainly successful career to date. The win happened in the 1st round of a 8 round fight via KO.
Taking another knock in his career, Viloria fought Roman Gonzalez on October 17th, 2015 and was defeated by Gonzalez. Out for his 43rd career fight, Viloria was once again outmatched where he suffered a 9th round TKO loss in only his 2nd stoppage defeat to date. Another blow for the talented Viloria.
