In what was a true showing of Sabaupan's technical ability, Sabaupan got the decision in the 10 round fight, and became the first person to beat Donal. Furthering his career, Sabaupan fought Jonel Gadapan on December 11th, 2011 and continued his career to a record of 18-0-1. The win came via RTD. Gadapan was stopped in the 4th round via RTD meaning Sabaupan was the first person to stop this opponent.
Taking a knock to his career, Sabaupan fought and was defeated by Marvin Quintero on April 21st, 2012 taking his record to 18-1-1. Quintero was a push too far for Sabaupan and after a tough fight Quintero became the first person to beat and stop Sabaupan in round 9. Sabaupan's win streak of 18 rose to 21 following 3 wins against boxers such as Freddie Martinez, Roselito Campana and Rachamongkol Sor pleonchit.
Pushing his career further, Sabaupan fought Sadiki Momba on May 26th, 2014 adding to his winning record. Momba was a worthy challenger but Sabaupan was too much and became the first person to stop Momba via RTD during round 8.
Al Sabaupan went into his fight with Eddy Comaro on September 21st, 2014 with 22 wins and he added another win to his record taking it to 23 wins by beating Comaro. Taking his total win streak to 23 wins, Sabaupan defeated Comaro in the 10 round fight. The win came via TKO in the 5th round. Sabaupan was the 8th to stop Comaro.
