Born November 10th 1979 Takashi Uchiyama (aged 44) has built up a good career record of 22-2-1. With plenty of experience and now 25 fights as a pro, Uchiyama hopes to move on to better things in future as he moves into the later stages of his career. Uchiyama went into his next career fight with a record of 18-0-1 and took this to 19 wins with a win against Bryan Vasquez on December 31st, 2012. Vasquez was a worthy challenger but Uchiyama was too much and became the first person to stop Vasquez via TKO during round 8.

Parra was stopped in the 5th round via KO crowning Uchiyama as the first person to stop this opponent. 2 wins followed taking Uchiyama's winning streak to 22 wins.
Uchiyama went into his next fight against Jezreel Corrales on April 27th, 2016 with a career record of 22-1-1. Uchiyama was beaten and stopped by Jezreel Corrales in the 2nd round. The win came via KO in the 2nd round.
Uchiyama's next defeat of his career came against Jezreel Corrales on December 31st, 2016. A valiant effort from Uchiyama, but one that was out of his reach technically. The fight came to a close after the final bell in a SD loss for Uchiyama. A setback for Uchiyama pro journey for sure.
