Corcoran then went on to win again against Danny Butler setting him up well for his next pro fight.
Unfortunately, the first defeat of Corcoran's career came against Liam Williams on July 16th, 2016 in Corcoran's 16th professional fight. Corcoran's fight against Liam Williams was Corcoran's first stoppage defeat of his career. This came via TKO in the 11th round of a 12 round fight.
Pushing his career further, Corcoran fought Larry Ekundayo on July 8th, 2017 adding to his winning record. In what was a true showing of Corcoran's technical ability, Corcoran got the decision in the 12 round fight, and became the first person to beat Ekundayo.
On December 13th, 2017, Corcoran took on and was defeated by Jeff Horn meaning his career tally went to 16-2-0 Corcoran struggled from the off with Horn, suffering his 2nd stoppage defeat out of 18 career fights. The latest loss on Corcoran's journey came via TKO in round 11.
