Mike Perez was up next for Jennings on July 26th, 2014. Jennings continued with his winning streak by beating Perez. Jennings showed his superior boxing skills to become the first person to beat Perez. The judges scored the bout in favour of Jennings by SD over the full 12 rounds.
Bryant Jennings was defeated by Wladimir Klitschko on April 25th, 2015 in his next fight. Facing his 20th professional opponent in Klitschko, Jennings was out-boxed over the 12 and suffered his first defeat. The fight ended in a UD result after the final bell. A devastating first defeat for Jennings.
