Next was Nonito Donaire on November 5th, 2016 where Magdaleno took the win continuing his unbeaten streak. Donaire was a great challenge for Magdaleno, losing over the full 12 round distance and crowning Magdaleno as the 4th person to have defeated Donaire.
Jessie Magdaleno went into his latest fight with Adeilson Dos santos on April 22nd, 2017 with 24 wins and he continued this winning streak taking it to 25 wins. Magdaleno was the 2nd fighter to stop Dos santos in round 2 of a 12 round fight, Magdaleno won via KO.
