Starting his career in August 2001 at the age of 23, orthodox boxer Armando Robles has now been pro for 15 years and has built up a career of 27-5-2. Unfortunately, Robles was outclassed and lost the decision on the judges scorecards taking his record to 3-1-0. Daniel Sandoval was the next fight for Robles on November 27th, 2010 and also his next career win. Robles fought Daniel Sandoval. Robles was the first person to go the distance with this opponent resulting in a win for Robles. Fights against Abraham alvarez Osuna rodriguez, Manuel Leyva, Ivan Alvarez and 2 others followed where he won all 5 fights taking his winning streak to 20 wins.
Alejandro Barrera was the next fight for Robles on May 19th, 2012 and also his next career win. Robles showed his superior boxing skills to become the first person to beat Barrera. Robles's career took a knock with a loss against Jose Zepeda on April 25th, 2015 taking his record to 27-4-2. Robles failed to reach the later rounds of this tough 10 round fight, Zepeda was too much and stopped Robles early to become the only person to stop Robles. The fight ended in round 1 via KO.
On March 18th, 2017, Robles took on and was defeated by Samuel Vargas meaning his career tally went to 27-5-2 A blow for Robles confidence, Robles was taken the full distance by Vargas and was handed a UD loss on the judges decision. A tough technical fight that leaves Robles unsure on where his career will head next.
