Gerber continued on his journey to success by fighting 3 times in 2007, 2 times in 2008 and 8 times through 2009 and 2010 beating fighters such as Samir Kurtagic, Rene Dettweiler and Marcel Zeller in his next 13 fights.
Next was Marcel Zeller on September 19th, 2009 where Gerber took the win continuing his unbeaten streak. Gerber was the 4th person to stop Marcel and he did it in the 6th round via TKO. Gerber's wins continued and went from 8 wins to 9 after he then defeated Shawn Mclean.
Furthering his career, Gerber fought Rene Dettweiler on January 30th, 2010 and advanced his winning streak to 10 wins. Dettweiler proved to be no match for Gerber, and Gerber became the first person to stop Dettweiler via TKO during round 2.

The first defeat of Gerber's career came against Michael Sprott on December 15th, 2012. This took his career record to 22-1-0. Coming into the fight with high confidence Gerber fought his next fight against Michael Sprott on December 15th, 2012. Unfortunately, Gerber was outclassed and lost the decision on the judges scorecards taking his record to 22-1-0. Gerber's wins continued and went from 22 wins to 23 after he then defeated Gbenga Oluokun.
On September 21st, 2013, Gerber took on and was defeated by Dereck Chisora meaning his career tally went to 23-2-0. Gerber was beaten by Dereck Chisora in the 5th round. The win came via TKO in the 5th round. This was Gerber's first stoppage defeat.
Ensuring he added another win to his tally, Edmund Gerber defeated Vicente Sandez on July 6th, 2014 in his latest fight. Taking his total win streak to 24 wins, Gerber defeated Sandez in the 12 round fight. The win came via TKO in the 2nd round. Gerber was the 3rd to stop Sandez.
