Garcia entered his next fight with a mostly successful record of 29-1-1 and took this to 30 wins with a win against Rommel Asenjo on April 30th, 2011 via TKO. Garcia was the first person to stop Rommel Asenjo and he did it in the 3rd round via TKO. Garcia's win streak of 30 rose to 37 following 7 wins against boxers such as Sammy Gutierrez, Erik Ramirez, Michael Landero and 4 others.
Garcia entered his next fight with a mostly successful record of 37-3-1 and took this to 38 wins with a win against Jesus Hernandez on December 5th, 2015 via KO. Garcia was the 4th person to stop Jesus and he did it in the 3rd round via KO. The fight was due to last 10 rounds.
Garcia went into his next fight against Donnie Nietes on May 28th, 2016 with a career record of 38 wins. This was a challenging fight for Garcia's latest outing where the pressure of Nietes was too great. Nietes ended up victorious stopping Garcia in round 5 via RTD. This was Nietes's first stoppage defeat.
