Born August 26th 1979, orthodox fighter Grigory Drozd started his career in April 2001 at the age of 21 and has now been pro for 14 years, fighting a total of 41 times. Early Career

In a successful debut, Drozd fought Valeri Semiskur in a 6 round fight defeating him over the distance and becoming only the 3rd person to defeat Semiskur. Following his debut, Drozd had an impressive start to his career as he went on to win his next 21 fights including 5 times in 2001, 8 times in 2002 and 8 times through 2003, 2004 and 2005 against the likes of Saul Montana, Yan Kulkov and Muslim Biarslanov.

Taking the first knock of his career, Drozd fought Firat Arslan on October 28th, 2006 and was defeated by Arslan. Drozd faced the first defeat of his career against Firat Arslan in the 5th round of a 12 round fight via TKO. Taking his record to 27 wins, 1 losses and 0 draws, Drozd then went on to win a further 2 fights.

Grigory Drozd Vs Laudelino jose Barros

On November 17th, 2007, Drozd went into action again and beat Laudelino jose Barros taking the winning record to 28 wins. Drozd's fight against Laudelino jose Barros came in the 8th round of a 12 round fight via KO. Drozd became the first person to stop Barros. Drozd's win streak of 28 rose to 31 following 3 great wins, becoming the 5th person to stop Rob Calloway (Round 7 TKO), 9th person to defeat Michael Simms and 10th person to defeat Talgat Dosanov.

Grigory Drozd Vs Darnell Wilson

Drozd kept his losses at 1 by beating Darnell Wilson on July 2nd, 2009. Wilson was a worthy challenger but Drozd was too much and became the first person to stop Wilson via RTD during round 10. 4 wins followed where Drozd went on to be the 3rd person to stop Fabio Garrido, 6th person to stop Richard Hall and 6th person to beat Jean marc Monrose.

Grigory Drozd Vs Mateusz Masternak

On October 5th, 2013, Drozd went into action again and beat Mateusz Masternak taking the winning record to 37 wins. Masternak was a worthy challenger but Drozd was too much and became the first person to stop Masternak via TKO during round 11. Drozd then went on to face Jeremy Ouanna where he added another win to his tally.

Grigory Drozd Vs Krzysztof Wlodarczyk

Drozd kept his losses at 1 by beating Krzysztof Wlodarczyk on September 27th, 2014. In 2014 Drozd fought his next opponent in Krzysztof Wlodarczyk. A challenging 12 round fight that ended in Drozd's favour as the judges awarded Drozd the UD victory. Drozd was the 3rd person to defeat Wlodarczyk.

Latest Fight

Ensuring he added another win to his tally, Grigory Drozd defeated Lukasz Janik on May 22nd, 2015 in his latest fight. Drozd was the 2nd fighter to stop Janik in round 9 of a 12 round fight, Drozd won via TKO.
