Starting his career in September 1999 at the age of 19, orthodox boxer Denis Bakhtov has now been pro for 15 years and has built up a career of 39-11-0. Continuing his career, Bakhtov fought Sergey Tretyakov in 2000 over 4 rounds. Bakhtov was the 2nd person to go the distance with Sergey Tretyakov. Fights against boxers including Keith Long, Mathew Ellis and Baldwin Hlongwane followed where he won 18 fights taking his winning streak to 19 wins.
Sinan Samil sam was next in line for Bakhtov where unfortunately, he was defeated on November 20th, 2004 taking his record to 19-3-0. Bakhtov was beaten by Sinan Samil sam in the 10th round. Bakhtov had only ever been stopped 2 times previously in his career. Taking his record to 20-3-0. Bakhtov then went on to win his next fight against Nuri Seferi.
Bakhtov went into his next fight against Saul Montana on April 27th, 2005 with a career record of 20-4-0. Bakhtov's fight against Saul Montana was Bakhtov's 3rd stoppage defeat which came via TKO in the 5th round of the fight. 24 wins followed where Bakhtov went on to fight Danny Williams, Steffen Kretschmann and Steffen Kretschmann amongst others, prolonging his win streak.
Bakhtov entered his next fight with a mostly successful record of 38-10-0 and took this to 39 wins with a win against Yuri Lunev on November 8th, 2014 via TKO. The win came in the 3rd round of a 8 round fight via TKO. Bakhtov was the 9th person to stop Yuri in his career.
On June 6th, 2015, Bakhtov took on and was defeated by Arnold Gjergjaj meaning his career tally went to 39-11-0 Fighting over a competitive 12 round bout, Bakhtov was outclassed in his most recent outing taking a UD loss over the distance at the hands of Gjergjaj.
