Anthony Joshua, born October 15th 1989 made his debut in October 2013. After not putting a foot wrong in 22 fights so far and building an unbeaten record of 22-0-0 it's still unclear just how far Joshua can go at the age of 33. Starting as he means to go on, Joshua got off to an explosive start in his debut, defeating Emanuele Leo in 1 rounds and becoming the only person to have stopped Leo to date. Following his debut, Joshua had an impressive start to his career as he went on to win his next 11 fights including 3 times in 2013 and once in 2015 against the likes of Matt Skelton, Denis Bakhtov and Michael Sprott.
On May 30th, 2015, Joshua was in action again beating Kevin Johnson taking his win streak to 13 wins. Becoming the first person to stop Kevin Johnson, Joshua beat Johnson via TKO in the 2nd round of a 10 round fight.
Furthering his career, Joshua fought Gary Cornish on September 12th, 2015 and advanced his winning streak to 14 wins. Cornish was stopped in the 1st round via TKO meaning Joshua was the first person to stop this opponent. Taking his record to 15-0-0. Joshua then went on to win his next fight against Dillian Whyte.
Charles Martin was Joshua's next fight on April 9th, 2016 and also his next win in his career. Martin proved to be no match for Joshua, and Joshua became the first person to stop Martin via KO during round 2. Fights against Eric Molina, Wladimir Klitschko, Carlos Takam and 1 other followed where he won all 4 fights taking his winning streak to 20 wins.
Next was Joseph Parker on March 31st, 2018 where Joshua took the win continuing his unbeaten streak. Joshua really made a statement in this fight, defeating Parker via UD over the distance and crowning himself as the first person to defeat Parker in his 24 fight career to date.
The unbeaten run continued with the defeat of Alexander Povetkin in his latest fight on September 22nd, 2018, taking his winning record to 22 wins. The latest fight for Joshua was expected to be a challenging one, but Povetkin was disposed of in 7 rounds as Joshua moves on to greater things and claims the honour of being first person to have ever stopped Alexander Povetkin.
