Next was Tawanda Chigwida on November 25th, 2010 where Ambunda took the win continuing his unbeaten streak. Chigwida was stopped in the 8th round via TKO crowning Ambunda as the first person to stop this opponent.
Next was Emilio Norfat on June 11th, 2011 where Ambunda took the win continuing his unbeaten streak. Ambunda's fight against Emilio Norfat came in the 12th round of a 12 round fight via KO. Ambunda became the first person to stop Norfat. 5 wins followed for Ambunda including being the 2nd person to beat Pungluang Sor singyu, 2nd person to beat William Prado and 4th person to stop Twalib Mubiru.
The first defeat of Ambunda's career came against Tomoki Kameda on August 1st, 2013. This took his career record to 20-1-0. On August 1st, 2013, Ambunda took on and was defeated over the distance by Tomoki Kameda in his first career defeat. Ambunda lost via UD in a valiant effort. 3 wins followed for Ambunda including being the 4th person to beat Tshifhiwa Munyai, 8th person to beat Cristian Palma and 5th person to defeat Leandro david Esperante.

The fight came to a close after the final bell in a UD loss for Ambunda. A setback for Ambunda pro journey for sure.
