Having started off in the pro game in May 2012 and having built a perfect unbeaten record of 11-0-0, Rama (age 37) now looks to move into the later stages of his career and step up against some of the top prospects in the division. In his first fight in May 2012, Rama defeated Mazen Girke in a 4 round fight. The fight went the full distance and secured Rama his first win and distance win to kick of his pro career. Rama built on his successful start to his career by fighting 4 times in 2012 and 2 times in 2013 which included fights against Mazen Girke, Titusz Szabo and Slavisa Simeunovic to name just a few.
On December 15th, 2012 Rama fought and beat Titusz Szabo (4-51-1) to continue his unbeaten streak. Becoming the 24th fighter to stop Szabo, Rama beat Szabo via KO in the 3rd round of a 4 round fight. Another win followed for Rama taking his win tally to 5 wins.
Slavisa Simeunovic was up next for Rama on April 26th, 2013. Rama continued with his winning streak by beating Simeunovic. Rama was the 2nd person to go the distance with Simeunovic. Rama fought Slavisa Simeunovic in 2013, the result was via UD. Fights against Attila Orsos, Achilles Szabo and Janos Varga followed where he won all 3 fights taking his winning streak to 9 wins.
Krisztian Megyes was beaten next on May 16th, 2014 meaning Rama could maintain his unbeaten streak. Megyes was a worthy challenger but Rama was too much and became the first person to stop Megyes via TKO during round 3.
Ensuring he remained unbeaten, Butrint Rama defeated Pietro D'alessio on August 30th, 2014 in his most recent fight. Pietro D'alessio was little match for Rama, as Rama became only the 17th person to defeat D'alessio in his most recent fight. The fight went the distance via UD decision.
