Cornelius White started off his pro career aged 25 and currently has a record of 23-5-0. White now looks to build on the experience gained in his first 28 fights. Staritng his career off in tremendous fashion in August 2007, White became the 7th quickest fighter to have ever stopped Cedric Blake. The fight ended in round 1 via KO stoppage. Continuing on from his successful debut, White continued his winning streak by winning his next 14 fights. In this time he fought and beat Raheem Gordon, Jose Medina and Gabriel Rivera to name just a few, fighting 2 times in 2007, 5 times in 2008 and 7 times through 2009 and 2010.
White went into his next fight against Don George on February 11th, 2011 with a career record of 16 wins. George proved to be too much for White, destroying him in round 1 via TKO and bringing the first stoppage defeat of White's career. 5 wins followed where White went on to be the 6th person to go the distance with Yordanis Despaigne, 2nd person to beat Dmitry Sukhotsky and 16th person to stop Anthony Bowman.
Taking another knock in his career, Sergey Kovalev was next in line for White with Kovalev coming out victorious. White career was at 21-2-0 following the fight. White failed to go into the later rounds with Kovalev, with Kovalev stopping him in the 3rd round and becoming the 2nd person to stop White.
White's next defeat of his career came against Thomas Williams jr on January 24th, 2014 taking his career record to 21-3-0. Williams jr upset White, stopping him in the 1st round and becoming only the 3rd person to stop White. White then went on to fight 4th person to go the distance with Marcus Browne and 18th person to stop William Johnson in his next 2 ensuring his record was 22-4-0
White went into his next career fight with a record of 22-4-0 and took this to 23 wins with a win against Marcus Oliveira on October 17th, 2015. White secured the win over Oliveira after the final bell via MD, resulting in White being the 2nd person to defeat Oliveira.
The next defeat of White's career came against Chad Dawson on April 16th, 2016. This took his career record to 23-5-0. A great performance by opponent Dawson added a 4th stoppage defeat to White's career. White was outmatched and the fight was brought to a halt in round 4 via TKO.
