Getting rid of his debut fight nerves early, Kajiyama took on Ayumu Mitani in October 2004 and claimed a stoppage victory (round 1, KO). Kajiyama was the first person to have ever stopped Mitani. Following on from his debut, Kajiyama continued his career by fighting in a further 10 fights. In this time he fought Tomonori Mase, Daiki Kuwabara and Masatoshi Takahashi to name just a few, fighting once in 2004, 6 times in 2005 and 3 times through 2006 and 2007 in this period.
Kajiyama then went on to fight and beat Tomonori Mase on July 2nd, 2005 maintaining his unbeaten record. Continuing his career, Kajiyama fought Tomonori Mase in 2005 over 4 rounds. Kajiyama was the 2nd person to go the distance with Tomonori Mase. Racking up wins against Masatoshi Takahashi and Joker Ogata, Kajiyama went on to fight and win these next 2 fights.
The first defeat of Kajiyama's career came against Kimihiko Nakamura on October 29th, 2005. This took his career record to 6-1-0. Coming into the fight with high confidence Kajiyama fought his next fight against Kimihiko Nakamura on October 29th, 2005. Unfortunately, Kajiyama was outclassed and lost the decision on the judges scorecards taking his record to 6-1-0.
Pushing his career further, Kajiyama fought Yuji Gomez on April 10th, 2008 adding to his winning record. Kajiyama was the 2nd person to go the distance with Gomez. Kajiyama fought Yuji Gomez in 2008, the result was via UD.
Alexander Bakhtin was next in line for Kajiyama where unfortunately, he was defeated on July 21st, 2008 taking his record to 10-3-2. Kajiyama was beaten by Alexander Bakhtin in the 8th round. The win came via TKO in the 8th round. This was Kajiyama's first stoppage defeat. 3 wins followed where Kajiyama went on to be the 6th person to defeat Yuji Nukaga, 4th person to beat Katsuhiko Kanno and 10th person to defeat Kenshi Kinoshita.
Yuki Takemoto was the next fight for Kajiyama on November 23rd, 2009 and also his next career win. The win against Takemoto came in the 5th round of a 10 round fight via TKO. Kajiyama was the 4th person to stop Takemoto.
On April 27th, 2010, Kajiyama took on and was defeated by Konosuke Tomiyama meaning his career tally went to 14-4-2 A valiant effort from Kajiyama, but one that was out of his reach technically. The fight came to a close after the final bell in a MD loss for Kajiyama. A setback for Kajiyama pro journey for sure.
