Marlon Alta started off his pro career aged 16 and currently has a record of 12-5-0. Alta now looks to build on the experience gained in his first 17 fights. He started his best winning streak on September 2006 however, this came to an end on August 2007. In this period he won a total of 6 fights.
Alta didn't take long to get comfortable in the pro game, becoming the first person to stop Risty Piapes (a 0 fight pro) via TKO in the 2nd round. Alta rise in boxing continued with 9 fights against fighters such as Naozumi Tsuchiyama, Francis john Tacbobo and Elmer Colve.
Taking the first knock of his career, Alta fought Dan Nazareno jr on December 8th, 2007 and was defeated by Nazareno jr. Alta's technical boxing ability was put to the test as he got outpointed in the 6 round fight against the better man. Nazareno jr gave Alta his first professional loss of his 7 fight career to date. Alta then went on to win a further 7 fights taking his record to 12 wins, 2 losses and 0 draw.
Makoto Fuchigami was next in line for Alta where unfortunately, he was defeated on October 12th, 2012 taking his record to 12-3-0. Alta's fight against Makoto Fuchigami was Alta's first stoppage defeat. This came via RTD in the 6th round of a 12 round fight.
Zac Dunn was next in line for Alta where unfortunately, he was defeated on November 29th, 2013 taking his record to 12-4-0. Alta's fight against Zac Dunn was Alta's 2nd stoppage defeat which came via RTD in the 5th round of the fight.
Taking another knock in his career, Alta fought Qu Peng on August 26th, 2014 and was defeated by Peng. Out for his 17th career fight, Alta was once again outmatched where he suffered a 3rd round TKO loss in only his 3rd stoppage defeat to date. Another blow for the talented Alta.
