It didn't take Lee long to get accustomed to the pro style of fighting. Becoming the first person to go the distance with Oh-chang Kwon in a successful pro debut. Lee's win streak continued to amass with 5 wins against fighters such as Jong-won Won, Ho young Lee and Oh-chang Kwon.
Furthering his career, Lee fought Dong-ja Ok with the fight ending in a draw, this was Lee first fight that didn't end in a win. This took Lee's career record to 5-0-1. Dong-ja Ok was Lee's next opponent of his career in 2009. The fight was scheduled for 4 and Lee was the 2nd person to go the distance with Ok where the fight ended in a draw.
On July 25th, 2009, Lee took on and was defeated by Seung-suk Chae meaning his career tally went to 5-1-1. Chae was a push too far for Lee and after a tough fight Chae became the first person to beat and stop Lee in round 9.

A blow for Lee confidence, Lee was taken the full distance by Kinoshita and was handed a UD loss on the judges decision. A tough technical fight that leaves Lee unsure on where his career will head next.
