Although beaten, Newfel Ouatah has gained plenty of experience over 13 fights and a 4 year long career so far. He now moves on to see just how far he can go as he approaches the later stage of his career. He started his best winning streak on July 2009 however, this came to an end on January 2014. In this period he won a total of 12 fights.
Starting as he means to go on, Ouatah got off to an explosive start in his debut, defeating Azar Layachi in 1 rounds and becoming the only person to have stopped Layachi to date. Ouatah's win streak continued to amass with 7 wins against fighters such as Alban Galonnier, Dmitrijs Basovs and Robert Gregor.
Cyril Leonet was up next for Ouatah on November 20th, 2010. Ouatah continued with his winning streak by beating Leonet. In 2010 Ouatah fought his next opponent Cyril Leonet and defeated him via UD. Ouatah was the 5th person to go the distance with Leonet. 4 wins followed where Ouatah went on to be the 2nd person to stop Mickael Vieira (Round 4 TKO), 4th person to stop Simone Loschi (Round 1 TKO) and 6th person to defeat Cyril Leonet.
Gregory Tony was Ouatah's next fight on January 30th, 2014 and also his next win in his career. Becoming the 4th fighter to stop Tony in his career, Ouatah beat Tony via KO in the 4th round of a 10 round fight.
Newfel Ouatah was defeated by Erkan Teper on June 13th, 2014 in his next fight. Erkan Teper became the first person to stop Ouatah. The win came via RTD in the 6th round of a 12 round bout. Although this has knocked Ouatah, let's hope we see another fight of his soon.
