Coming into the fight with high confidence Mojica fought his next fight against Oliver Flores on September 21st, 2013. Unfortunately, Mojica was outclassed and lost the decision on the judges scorecards taking his record to 12-1-2.
Mojica went into his next career fight with a record of 12-1-2 and took this to 13 wins with a win against Eligio Palacios on January 25th, 2014. Mojica was the 15th person to beat Eligio Palacios where he showed his talent as a technical boxer, beating him over 8 rounds in his 16th professional fight.
Mojica's next defeat of his career came against Jose Alfaro on March 15th, 2014. This bout proved to be the toughest of Mojica's 17 career fights to date. Alfaro was too skilful and took 7 rounds to dispose of Mojica. This was Mojica's first stoppage defeat as he looks to move on and rebuild going forwards.
