The longest KO streak that Nugaev has ever had is 5 throughout his 38 fights and his longest winning streak is 6 wins. This started on October 2001 and came to an end on February 2011.
Nugaev's pro career began against Sergey Shekhovtsov (1-3-0) in a 4 round contest. Nugaev got the UD win via a judges decision. Following on from his debut, Nugaev continued his mostly successful career by fighting in a further 19 fights. In this time he fought Ricardo Fuentes, Luis Arceo and Martin Sanchez to name just a few, fighting once in 2001, 7 times in 2002 and 11 times through 2003, 2004 and 2005 in this period.
Unfortunately, the first defeat of Nugaev's career came against Ziyatdinbek Toygonbayev on March 1st, 2002 in Nugaev's 2nd professional fight. Taking the first setback of his career, the March 1st, 2002 Toygonbayev defeat went the full distance and ended via SD. Nugaev then went on to win a further 17 fights taking his record to 14 wins, 4 losses and 1 draw.
Anthony Mora was the next fight for Nugaev on March 3rd, 2006 and also his next career win. Nugaev was the first person to stop Anthony Mora and he did it in the 5th round via RTD. Nugaev's win streak of 15 rose to 22 following 7 wins against boxers such as Justin Juuko, Efren Hinojosa, Jose antonio Izquierdo and 4 others.
Nugaev kept his losses at 6 by beating Jonathan Maicelo on April 5th, 2013. Maicelo was stopped in the 8th round via KO crowning Nugaev as the first person to stop this opponent. 4 wins followed where Nugaev went on to be the 2nd person to stop Jose Hernandez (Round 5 KO), 4th person to stop Marvin Quintero (Round 4 RTD) and 8th person to stop Daniel Attah.
Denis Shafikov was next in line for Nugaev where unfortunately, he was defeated on August 15th, 2014 taking his record to 27-7-1. Nugaev was beaten by Denis Shafikov in the 9th round. The win came via TKO in the 9th round. This was Nugaev's first stoppage defeat. Taking his record to 28-7-1. Nugaev then went on to win his next fight against Ardie Boyose.
Pushing his career further, Nugaev fought Feruzbek Yuldashev on February 18th, 2017 adding to his winning record. Yuldashev was a worthy challenger but Nugaev was too much and became the first person to stop Yuldashev via RTD during round 7.
Nugaev's next defeat of his career came against Deiner Berrio on May 5th, 2017. This latest challenge for Nugaev proved to be too much for him, taking a UD loss to the better technical fighter over the 10 rounds and leaving Nugaev wondering which direction his career will head next.
