Amonsot's next defeat of his career came against Simson Butar butar on September 23rd, 2006 taking his career record to 17-2-1. Butar butar upset Amonsot, stopping him in the 1st round and becoming only the 2nd person to stop Amonsot. Amonsot's wins continued and went from 17 wins to 18 after he then defeated Da-woon Jung.
Taking a knock to his career, Amonsot fought and was defeated by Michael Katsidis on July 21st, 2007 taking his record to 18-3-1. In 2007 Amonsot fought his next opponent Michael Katsidis and was defeated by him via UD. Amonsot was the 3rd person to go the distance with Katsidis. Fights against boxers including Thong Por chokchai, Sapapetch Sor sakaorat and Steven Wills followed where he won 11 fights taking his winning streak to 27 wins.
Furthering his career, Amonsot fought Christian ariel Lopez on August 3rd, 2016 and continued his career to a record of 28-3-3. The win came via KO. The win happened in the 3rd round of a 10 round fight via KO.
Amonsot went into his next fight against Carlos Manuel Portillo on October 6th, 2017 with a career record of 28 wins. A great performance by opponent Portillo added a 3rd stoppage defeat to Amonsot's career. Amonsot was outmatched and the fight was brought to a halt in round 3 via TKO.
