Starting his career in October 1996 at the age of 23, orthodox boxer Marco antonio Avendano has now been pro for 20 years and has built up a career of 30-10-1. Avendano then went on to win his next fight against Fitz Vanderpool.
Avendano lost to Joachim Alcine in his next fight. Taking place on September 10th, 2005, Avendano's career record after this fight stood at 20-5-1. Alcine upset Avendano in a 12 round fight, stopping him in the 8th round and becoming only the 3rd person to stop Avendano. Avendano's win streak of 20 rose to 30 following 10 wins against boxers such as Eduardo Molina, Pedro Fuentes, Sebastian andres Lujan and 7 others.
Vyacheslav Senchenko was next in line for Avendano where unfortunately, he was defeated on August 26th, 2011 taking his record to 30-8-1. Avendano's fight against Vyacheslav Senchenko was Avendano's 4th stoppage defeat which came via TKO in the 6th round of the fight.
