Although beaten, Yuji Kanemitsu has gained plenty of experience over 14 fights and a 5 year long career so far. He now moves on to see just how far he can go as he approaches the later stage of his career. The longest KO streak that Kanemitsu has ever had is 3 throughout his 14 fights and his longest winning streak is 6 wins. This started on April 2003 and came to an end on July 2005.
Staritng his career off in tremendous fashion in April 2003, Kanemitsu became the 2nd quickest fighter to have ever stopped Yuya Fujiwara. The fight ended in round 1 via KO stoppage. Following his debut, Kanemitsu had an impressive start to his career as he went on to fight 7 fights including 2 times in 2003 and 3 times in 2005 against fighters such as Hidetetsu Miyamoto, Yoshiaki Takemasa and Tsuyoshi Yamamoto.
Next was Hiroshi Ikeda on June 26th, 2004 where Kanemitsu took the win continuing his unbeaten streak. Hiroshi Ikeda was Kanemitsu's next opponent of his career in 2004. The fight was scheduled for 4 and Kanemitsu was the 2nd person to go the distance with Ikeda. Kanemitsu's winning streak went from 4 wins to 6 after he then defeated boxers including Masaharu Miyaguchi and Tsuyoshi Yamamoto.
Taking the first knock of his career, Kanemitsu fought Yuki Nasu on September 3rd, 2005 and was defeated by Nasu. Nasu was a push too far for Kanemitsu and after a tough fight Nasu became the first person to beat and stop Kanemitsu in round 1. Fights against Yuji Shimizu, Hiroshi Matsumoto, Eriberto Gejon and 2 others followed where he won all 5 fights taking his winning streak to 11 wins.
Kanemitsu went into his next fight against Takashi Kunishige on October 25th, 2008 with a career record of 11-2-0. Outclassed, Kanemitsu took another loss as the judges awarded Kunishige the UD win on a great performance.
The wins continued with the defeat of Masatate Tsuji on March 21st, 2009 in Kanemitsu's most recent fight taking his winning record to 12 wins. The latest fight for Kanemitsu was expected to be a challenging one, but Tsuji was disposed of in 10 rounds as Kanemitsu moves on to greater things and claims the honour of being first person to have ever stopped Masatate Tsuji.
