Halog, a pro since January 1997 has now had 20 fights lasting 4 years as a pro. Although he's tasted defeat, he's shown a clear love for fighting. With his last fight having taken place in November 2018, Halog now looks for his next challenge as a pro. He started his best winning streak on January 1997 however, this came to an end on March 2000. In this period he won a total of 6 fights.
Halog didn't take long to get comfortable in the pro game, becoming the first person to stop Benjie Concepcion (a 1 fight pro) via TKO in the 1st round. Halog rise in boxing continued with 10 fights against fighters such as Ellaquin Caler, Edwin Celusia and Benjie Concepcion.
Edwin Celusia was up next for Halog on October 4th, 1997. Halog continued with his winning streak by beating Celusia. Edwin Celusia was Halog's next opponent of his career in 1997. The fight was scheduled for 6 and Halog was the 2nd person to go the distance with Celusia.
Unfortunately, the first defeat of Halog's career came against Flash Murillo on January 17th, 1998 in Halog's 6th professional fight. Halog's fight against Flash Murillo was Halog's first stoppage defeat of his career. This came via TKO in the 3rd round of a 0 round fight. Another win followed for Halog taking his win tally to 6 wins.
On October 3rd, 1998, Halog went into action again and beat Roberto Galicia taking the winning record to 7 wins. Showing his class against Galicia, Halog was the 4th person to go the distance with this opponent. Halog then went on to face Roberto Galicia where he added another win to his tally.
Pushing his career further, Halog fought Ellaquin Caler on February 19th, 1999 adding to his winning record. In 1999 Halog fought his next opponent Ellaquin Caler and defeated him via PTS. Halog was the 3rd person to go the distance with Caler. Halog then went on to win a further 8 fights taking his record to 15 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw.
On September 8th, 2001, Halog went into action again and beat Efren Papangy taking the winning record to 16 wins. Papangy was stopped in the 4th round via TKO crowning Halog as the first person to stop this opponent.
The next defeat of Halog's career came against Joel Avila on December 22nd, 2001. This took his career record to 16-3-1. A blow for Halog confidence, Halog was taken the full distance by Avila and was handed a SD loss on the judges decision. A tough technical fight that leaves Halog unsure on where his career will head next.
